Published quarterly in Mandarin Chinese and English, Dakai Maritimes is designed to connect the Chinese communities in Maritime Canada. It connects the audiences through informing them on the issues and stories that matter most. It covers stories on a wide variety of topics including education, immigration, business, events, culture, life, food and more.
Dakai Maritimes is now partnering with The Chronicle Herald to make larger impact on the communities it continues to connect with. Since the partnership, Dakai Maritimes has increased its circulation from 5,000 up to 35,000 copies – 30,000 copies are now being distributed in The Chronicle Herald newspapers, while another 5,000 copies are being bulk-dropped at specific neighbourhood locations.
